Link styles don't work

Hi,
I added new styles for links but that doesn't work, when previewed they go to default. The only way is to change them in page properties but it means on a particular page I can have only one style/colour while I want white links on the footer on every page.

I never had that problem before.

After making the link style... are you sure you also choose that link style in the property for the link?

The name of the style is invalid.
