Font Installation

Post by colsmith999 »

I want to change the text elements of my website to the Verdana font because at the moment it is almost exclusively Tahoma.

On mobile android devices this works fine but on IOS devices using the safari browser the device doesn't like Tahoma and displays text in Times New Roman

Although it would be a massive pain to change to a font IOS browsers are ok with I assume that is my only alternative. To make this happen I have done some research and it seems that Verdana is a font IOS will display.

That gets me the next issue - The Verdana Font is installed on my system but it is not available in WYSIWYG 19 (only Verdana Bold)
How can i install the Verdana font into the program or is there an alternative method to make IOS devices display Tahoma?

Verdana is a standard system font so it should listed by default. It's also web safe so there is no need to use @font-face for this.
Maybe you have disable it in the web safe font list?

On my system (in WWB20) there is no 'Verdana Bold'. Maybe you have installed a different font with the same name?
