online store

Post by Joan Ferrer »

Hello
I'm looking at how to make an "online store".
My idea is that the client makes their purchases in a “traditional” way, with price, units,...
No payment gateway.
Once the purchase is finished, send me an email with the order and your name, telephone number, ... (form?)
I review the order and send an email or WhatsApp with the amount so you can pay through my payment gateway (bizum,...)
It can be done, where can I start?
I have downloaded several templates and I am very confused.

Interesting Update at PHPJabbers. The Shopping Cart is now available for FREE download and use (no support or warranty)

I believe you can configure a checkout method that allows no payment online but sends you an email notice. You'll need to test.

One other possible way you could achieve this by the use of url parameters. For example on your product page you would have a button which is a link to a contact form this link (button) would have values within it that refer to the product which inturn would populate the form fields with the aid of a small script that grabs these. All that would now be required in the form is the person name, email so that you can contact them to arrange anything else.
