index page background doesn't show on Chrome preview

I added a background to my index page, but it doesn't appear when I preview in Chrome. Why?

I tried again. I chose a background, then image, then the file (Fil30.jpg) and saved the index file as a .wbs file, and then previewed in Chrome, and the background still does not appear. The background image I selected is a little light, so maybe that is why it is not showing. Please advise.

Are you sure you have read all the information? the name of files should not have brackets around them!

Also in some instances the naming should be all lowercase fil30.jpg if it still doesn't work please provide a url so that the page can be viewed and ser what you have done.

I renamed the image file to fil30.jpg and tried again and the same failure happened. I don't have a url for my website. How do I share my index page with you? I'm confused.

I believe my url is www.paulrdavis.com - do i upload a renamed version of my index file to the my hosting server so you can view it and see what the problem is?
