< > PHP symbols converted ... sometimes

Post by tristan »

Hi,

I was posting about another issue but found the problem as I was stripping out the project, but I do have another question.

https://www.dropbox.com/s/lajcwqoskiojo ... .wbs?dl=0

With respect to the "Your-Farm-Summary page", why are the < > symbols coverted at line 204 but not at 207 of the html (and how do I prevent them from converting)?

Ta,
Tristan

Where exactly in the project do I need to look?
Can you please be more specific?

If you share a protect then it's best to remove everything that is not relevant to your question to prevent any confusion.

Hi,

Thanks for looking at it I stripped out 90% of the project. What I am asking about is on page "Your-Farm-Summary" in the Page HTML

I just upgraded to WWB 18 which changed the line numbers.

Hopefully the linked picture makes it clearer?

I don't understand how to make sure the symbols don't convert, these are both text boxes but one has converted the < > symbols at code level and tehe other one hasn't.

Cheers,
Tristan

If you do not want convert symbols then you will have to enable the option 'Do not encode HTML characters' in the properties of the text object.

Note that you have already posted about this previously:
