Background colour surrounding web page
I am trying to change the background colour of my site. I have no problems changing the page background colour but I want to change the colour of the remaining area around the page. Any help would be appreciated.

What do you mean by this? The background colour of the page can be changed in Page Properties > Style > Background where it has always been...

The background of the web page can be set in the page properties.
If you want to use a different color behind your content then you can use a layer, shape or in flexible layouts change the background of the layout gird.
