Google is demanding for all images to convert to one of new image formats, to webp, for instance.
Since I have 1000's images to convert, my idea was:
- first to bulk convert all images in wysiwyg project folder
- then to global replace in WebBuilder all *.jpg, *.png ... to *.webp
However, seems like it's not possible in global replace, as I can only convert files one by one.
It will take weeks to complete the work.
Anys ideas, how to do this task in bulk?
I can do this on server level, but would like the solution inside program.

Re: Converting to webp
Before doing anything you should note that not all browsers support webp yet. Please see the following url reading from Pablo's link to browser compatibility and crispy68 reply on using webp and exciting formats such as jpg as a fallback to browsers that do not support as of yet.

I would also not recommended trying to remove / replace image(s) on the server manually due to the fact any image change may have a slightly different size(s) which in turn could possibly effect the layout of the page(s) It is always recommend to make all changes within the software itself so not cause errors.

Re: Converting to webp
Webp is by now working on almost all browsers.
And it's only a matter of short time, when it will be ok everywhere.
If you have lots of images on page, it's very important to go to webp because of page speed.
Even if not working everywhere yet.
So there is no solution on program level at this moment?

Re: Converting to webp
There is currently no tool to find and replace all images.
But you can use the Asset Manager to replace images from one place.
