When typing text in the text area it disappears after few lines. The picture below shows a gap at the bottom. It is blank (white) and the text is invisible. When I click the ose out of the object and then back inside it the text appears.

Are you using the latest version of the software? To be able to 'Help' it would be best to share a copy of your project ( the .wbs file) as a image does not give much information.A picture paints a thousand words

As bacon said, please provide a copy of your project file and describe the exact steps to make it not work. I've tried to recreate your issue and cannot get it to fail.
