WB16, Moving From 32 to 64 and Hot Fix 1

Post by ColinM »

Hi Pablo,

Fantastic effort on another awesome upgrade - a huge thank you and congrats to you and your team! 8)

I've just purchased WB16 to upgrade from WB15.

Two questions please:
1) Do I just install WB16 then the Hotfix?
2) Any issues, anything to watch out going from WB15 (32 bit) to WB16 (64 bit) and are there advantages to going 64?
Yours truly

The hotfix is included in the download, so there is no need to install it separately

There are currently no known issues. But I am sure there will still be some glitches here and there. They will be fixed as soon as they are reported.

The 64bit version is optimized for modern computers, it should be faster and can handle projects larger than 2GB.

Thank you Pablo for the prompt reply. Completely understand and respect that with even the most thorough pre-launch testing (as you do) , such a huge undertaking with inevitably have a few niggles and that they'll be addressed in your usual meteoric fashion. 8)
