Master Page with Flex Grid

Hi there, I made a master page with a Flex Grid. All subsequent pages will have the exact same content except for a header and a text field. Once I created the master page I then created a new page and linked it to the master page - works perfectly at this point.

The problem is when I create a new header or text field I cannot place them into the flex grid. Is there a workaround for this?

You cannot added objects to the flex grid if it's on master page. If the flex grid belongs to the master page then will can only edit it there.
