facebook link to open website or app

Hi Folks,

I want a facebook link on my website. Is it possible to have it so when the link is clicked on a computer, it takes you to the facebook website, but when its clicked on a phone or tablet, it opens the app. Opening the facebook website on a smart phone or tablet is pretty worthless.

This functionality should be implemented in the browser, I don't think you can control this via HTML

Maybe one of the following urls will help you. Note for reference only no help offered on how to use/implement into WB... and as mentioned in the second url this may not work or be suitable for the user(s) who do not use the FB apk/app (me being one) on a mobile/tablet so clicking on the link wont work....
