Login: Directing a user to a specific web page
Hi.
In the normal mode, after login, all the users are directed to web page (for example "services").
This is my question:
But I would wish to direct a specific user (only him) to a specific web page (for example "special services").
This user has created an account with Signup: He has Full name, Username, password, and email.
Can you help me?

This can be done with the 'User Redirect' object.
Re: Login: Directing a user to a specific web page
Tell to me please: Where I must locate the User Redirect object?

Re: Login: Directing a user to a specific web page
It is located in the Login tools -> User Redirect
Re: Login: Directing a user to a specific web page
I was not clear...
Where I must locate this object? On the page itself where the user can be redirected or in another page?
Thank you.

Re: Login: Directing a user to a specific web page
It should be placed on the page where the user normally goes after logging in.

Re: Login: Directing a user to a specific web page
Hi...I tried the new login system and encountered the following problem with redirecting a category of users (administrators). I tried to use both [admin], [administrator], [Admin] and [Administrator] but the redirect to the desired page did not work. But when I wrote without parentheses (brakets), the administrator redirected me, which means that it doesn't work for user groups. I mention that during the test my account was administrator, activated and complete with all data: email, etc ...

Re: Login: Directing a user to a specific web page
I'm sorry, but I am confused by all the pages. Where do I start?
Can you please simplify your project so it's immediately clear what you are trying to do?
See also the FAQ:
viewtopic.php?f=10&t=82134
Note that user roles are case sensitive
Also 'protected page' and 'user redirect' should not be on the same page.
'user redirect' is an alternative for 'protected page'. See also the help.

Re: Login: Directing a user to a specific web page
It's not the whole project but just a simplified part as much as I could in a short time ... I presented only the operating system and 2 protected pages (movies and music). After logging in to login_signup from the first page (index) it sends you either in login ok or in login error as the case may be ... from login ok it must redirect you if you are in the admin group to the "admins" page and if you are a user to the page users .. there each group will have different options (links) and in the case of movies and music to have access or not.

Re: Login: Directing a user to a specific web page
I meant that you will need to make sure that the upper/lowercase of the user roles must be correct
For example, 'administrator' must be 'Administrator'
For example, 'administrator' must be 'Administrator'

In the project you have shared, the casing is not correct, so that will not work.
