Picture Voting Poll & Disqus Comment System

Post by JimmyJazz »

Just to share with the community two useful additions that are fully compatible with wysiwyg Web Builder.

I have installed a cool voting poll on my homepage that includes pictures, it is configurable so results can show number of votes & percentages in a bar graph output.

My homepage is set to .html but the picture voting poll needs to be set to .php so I created a new page, set it to .php & placed the voting code inside a html box.
On my home page I used an iframe (inline frame) where I wanted the poll to appear & pointed the iframe to the new page I had created.

Check out the results here:

The picture voting poll can be downloaded from this website:

I have also implemented the Disqus comment system onto my individual review pages. It is very easy to do, you just copy the code from the Disqus website & paste it into a html box where you want the comment system to appear. There is minimal editing (2 lines) and you can easily delete unwanted comments from the Disqus admin area. Check it out:

Enjoy :D
