Checkboxes all black after upgrading from v14 to v20

When I load any of my v14 projects any checkbox that's not checked is appearing as a black square (when unchecked) in v20.1.1

The background colour is an off-white so it shouldn't appear as black in the editor when not checked!

Is there an easy way to convert these to the new style checkbox or just fix v20 so the old style is displayed correctly please?

I am not aware of any issues with checkboxes.

To be able to help you, I need a DEMO project (.wbs file) so I can see all your settings.
Also, please include a description how to reproduce this problem.

I do not need the complete project because that will only take more time to figure out what you have done.
Basically, I just need a small project with one page and object(s) that are relevant to your question.

In older versions, the checkbox could not be styled. So, the initial colors may have been unset (black).

This may work:
1. Right click the new checkbox
2. Select 'Copy Style'
3. Right click the old checkbox
4. Select 'Paste Style'
