FTP **** SOLVED ****

Post by brynj »

Can someone point out my error please ...

I am trying to setup ftp within WYSIWYG but keeps failing with log in - it seems to suggest user/pass is wrong but I have checked multiple times, type myself, cut & paste but no good.. Filezilla works.

Here are WYSIWYG settings that fail:
https://e.pcloud.link/publink/show?code ... ddmbuQJuk7

Failure message:
https://e.pcloud.link/publink/show?code ... uCsfRGj97X

Here are Filezilla settings that work:
https://e.pcloud.link/publink/show?code ... bUajF4I5mX

Hi brynj, what I can see at a quick glance is that you probably at Remote folder settings only shall have: public_html

OK - I have solved my immediate issue.

I went into cPanel and create an additional FTP account - this works. No idea why the other one doesn't when it works fine with Filezilla.

Thanks
