AI for 21

Post by Bossmonster »

Hi there guys,

I upgraded to the version 21 specifically to use the AI, however, for some odd reason, I'm not able to setup olama on my computer. It keeps giving me an error saying something about cannot open because its a security risk and other than that olama just sits there loading forever (locally). Yet other AI programs like LM Studio work just fine. I also tried using API keys and I can't get a single one of those to work either. Has anyone else had any luck implementing the AI?

You will need to disable any AV software running such as Windows Defender and Ransomware temporarily and add to the exception/white list to install. Please note that this is unrelated to the software but that of Windows. Your graphics card will also need to have at least 6GB to 12GB of VRAM to run smoothly if intending to use frequently without issues.

I use Ollama very frequently, and it works reliably for me across multiple computers.
Please note that setting up Ollama is not directly related to WWB. Once Ollama has been configured correctly, it can be used in combination with WWB.

Also, if you already have LM Studio running then you do not need Ollama, v21 also supports LM Studio.
