Layout Grid issue

Hi All

A bit confused! I am working on a project and have added a layout grid, just as I would any other, split it into a 4 + 8 and added 2 text fields. The page width is 1024 and the grid is also fixed to that.

When I 'Preview' the page, the text fields overlap and I am sure I have done the above on hundreds of Cell Grids and not seen this before. I have created a single page 'demo project' here http://supake.co.uk/testing/clashingtext.zip

What am I doing wrong?

The text contains no spaces, so the browser has no natural breaking points to wrap it onto the next line.

Also, text object inside a layout grid should be set to full width if you want them to be flexible and responsive.

Fudge! Was is that simple - doh! I have put sample text in holders many times and never noticed I had added a space. Live & Learn
