How do I implement the start screen scenario?

Post by VictorKrs »

Hello, dear WWB users!

I have a question about how and with what tools the following idea can be implemented in WWB (the site is developed based on Layout Grid):
1. When you log in to the site, a video (mp4, stored locally) is launched on the main screen (where the slider is usually located), which is played automatically and only once (it stops at the last frame). I successfully and easily implemented this using a video as a layout grid background (thanks to dear crispy68 for his help!)/
2. Then, with the Fade In (or Cross Fade) effect, a static image appears as a background and, using animation, some text appears on top of it (an advertising slogan or a call to action to buy, and so on). The animation of the start screen is similar to that implemented in the WWB template "wb19_stationary" ( https://www.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/suppo ... onary.html )
3. At step 2, everything stops (there are no repetitions, cycles).
4. There should be no controls or slide thumbnails. Content only!

Unfortunately, I don't know how to implement this on my own, so I'm asking for help.

I will be grateful for your advice in any form!

Did you consider using timers?

Hello!

I've dealt with this issue. I was looking in the wrong place, I tried the wrong thing :)
Thank you, Pablo! With your question, you pushed me to look for a solution elsewhere, and I found it. Everything turned out to be easier :)
I am very happy with it :)
