Hi Greg. Nice work. Really like the design that suits the purpose very well. Just for have some comment... a little more margin in the bottom of the page can't be wrong

Thanks for taking a look Bluesman - appreciated. I haven't worked out how to put a footer in that just sits at the bottom of various height pages, so I'll probably need assistance with that. I'll keep looking. Thanks again.Bluesman wrote: Thu Jun 12, 2025 1:37 pm Hi Greg. Nice work. Really like the design that suits the purpose very well. Maybe you should try out working with Layout Grids, adding a footer is an alternative for the Layout Grid. And having on a Master Page will make it easy to edit. Layout Grids make the responsive function much smoother.

Re: New site for Music Club
Thanks Thomas. I've designed the site using just pages and placing the objects on those pages and also in layers. I have a master page with just the logo and dropdown menu. I'm not that familiar with all the new layout grids. Every time I placed one on a page it just automatically moved to the top of the page so I gave up. If I use Layout Grids, I would probably have to re-write the whole website.

Re: New site for Music Club
i did some updates for an Aussie site a few month back. the origianl site used fixed layout. when i did the updates i converted the site to be responsive using layout grids. yes, it took some time but really not that bad and the end resuls was a better site. a great bit of the process was copy and paste.GregInPerth wrote: Sat Jul 05, 2025 11:29 am Thanks Thomas. Re: New site for Music Club
Thanks onlye. I will have a play with responsive layout grids and see how I go. I can upload to our site in a new folder for testing. I have a large form that musicians fill in to submit a setlist for our club nights that have 8 bands playing and that worries me a bit. It works well with the DBTS form I use and the sender gets a confirmation email which looks good. If you want to fill in the setlist form (using your own silly data) you will see what I mean. I guess I will have to see what I can do in the newest format. Thanks for the reply - much appreciated.onlye wrote: Sat Jul 05, 2025 4:25 pmi did some updates for an Aussie site a few month back. the origianl site used fixed layout. when i did the updates i converted the site to be responsive using layout grids. yes, it took some time but really not that bad and the end resuls was a better site. a great bit of the process was copy and paste.GregInPerth wrote: Sat Jul 05, 2025 11:29 am Thanks Thomas.
