Can Wysiwyg Web Builder be used for online help documentation site

Hello

This may be a dumb question to ask, so here goes.

I purchased HelpStudio 2011 back in 2011 and have been using it to create .chm and online help documentation for my software. The product works good.

However, due to a computer crash, which happens, I had to purchase a new computer and re-install Helpstudio 2011. When I processed the activation key, I received an email from support saying they no longer support 2011 and give our license keys. I need to purchase their new subscription based HelpStudio 2024 at the price of $810.00 / year.

Ok, I am a small software developer and $810.00/year is a little steep for online help docs.

My question is, can Wysiwyg Web Builder be used to create online help docs and if so, are there any startup templates.

Or maybe someone knows of a real good program that is not that expensive.

The software is a Web Design Tool not a .chm creation tool so no templates available. With this said you could possibly design the initial layout with the software then convert the html to chm.
