Page Description

Post by AliGW »

I am just getting round to looking at SEO and keywords. I've set my home page language to English (UK) and all of the text on the page is in English. Why then, I wonder, does the AI generator give me a page description in French? It doesn't matter - I only clicked on it to see what it would come up with - but there it is!

It's quite a nice description - I speak French, so I might translate it and use it, but I'm baffled as to why it thinks I want a French description!!!

AI generated keywords are in English, as I'd expect.

It difficult to say why it returns the page description in French. There may be words on the page that may trigger it into thinking it's French.
Note that this is a third party feature (OpenAI).

It's my home page, Pablo, and there's nothing French on it: https://www.alisongwright.me.uk/index.html

Quite the mystery, then!

Not really an issue, anyway - I was just testing it out. Not something I'm likely to need.

Maybe you can try using local AI (ollama) instead? If you have a fast enough computer.

I'm not into AI at all. It's really not a problem - I just thought I'd mention that it was happening.

I'm perfectly capable of writing my own content!!!

Have a nice weekend.
