Greetings,
When trying to import from a website the WYSIWYG Web Builder either crashes or gives me a black page. Doesn't matter which website I go to. I even tried going to a local webpage and the same thing happens.
I checked the board and there was no clear remedy for import webpage crashes. I was just testing and did not utilize more than one page. Has there been a remedy for this?
Error when it doesn't crash: Error while importing HTML please make sure the specified URL is valid.

Re: WYSIWYG Web Builder import crashes
First please note that WYSIWYG Web Builder is not a HTML Editor but a HTML Generator what this means is that the HTML doesn't exist till you publish. With that said it doesn't mean you you cannot import HTML pages but it may have it restrictions. These are highlighted at the following Importing an existing HTML page It is always best to provide an example of what your trying to import so we can test and then advise. Note if the site(s) in question are CMS such as Wo*dPr**s then it is not possible sorry.

Most modern websites use JavaScript and grid systems, which cannot be imported because there is no way convert this back to a project structure.
However, the software should not crash. When this happens this is most likely related to your network configuration (Firewall, virusscanner, IE setup).
Re: WYSIWYG Web Builder import crashes
'Import HTML' uses Internet Explorer to get the layout from the HTML. This may be blocked on your system by the firewall or virus-scanner.
