Question about getting fonts to work right.

Post by Fredl »

Hello, I have a project that uses a Gothic looking font called "cloister black", I installed it on my PC and WB20 let me use it on my project, but for some reason it isn't displayed correctly on the breadcrumb menu when I preview it. It displays correctly everywhere else, is there a method of adding a local copy for non web-safe fonts?, I noticed the "automatically use @font-face" option, but when I tried it my page displayed the incorrect font in places that it was working before, and it didn't fix the font in the menu either. Are there other steps to making the @font-face resource work? Any tips would be appreciated, I'm close to being done with this simple 2 page project, but I'd like the menu to respect the font specified, thanks.

Note that some fonts may not be compatible with @font-face.
Also, some fonts require a license to be used.

Thanks Pablo, I followed those directions however it still doesn't display the correct font in the menu during preview for some reason. Perhaps when it's on an actual server it will behave. If not I'll come back with a project file.
