admin has no edit options when updated to WWB19
Hi,
I have a test website on https://kadersolutions.nl/tmpz on which you can jump to the admin page using the gear button on the bottom of the page. On the admin.php page I use the admin function which works just fine published with the WWB16 version.
This morning I bought a WWB19 version and published my website with that version to subfolder https://kadersolutions.nl/tmp
On this site the admin function only shows users which were already defined and I can only create new users of log out. The edit and delete buttons are not shown so i cannot modify user data. As you can see the tmpz version still works like it did before
Can you please explain why this is happening?
Regards,
Ken de Ruiter

Maybe you did not publish all files?
Are there any errors in the PHP log on the server?
Note that I cannot see what you have done based on the published page (HTML), because the software has thousands of options and millions of possible combinations.
So, there is no way to know which options you have used by looking at the HTML only.
For further details about how to share a project file, please see this FAQ:

Re: admin has no edit options when updated to WWB19
In response to your reaction:
1. I published all files
2. I got no errors, just 2 warnings about 'Not web-safe filenames' (2 png files)
3. I have added a folder 'Project file' to the https://kadersolutions.nl/tmp. In that folder I have stored a test project file which shows no edit/delete buttons for the admin function.
Hopefully I provided you with enough information to solve this problem

Did you check the PHP log in on the server?
I cannot access your project.
What do I need to to to see the problem?

You have added invalid HTML to the page. This breaks the structure of the page.
Please remove this:

Then please explain to me why this was not an issue in the WWB16 version.
(after all: WWB is supposed to be upwards compatible isn't it?)

And by the way: i removed the favicon line but the issue remains
Re: admin has no edit options when updated to WWB19
This has nothing to do with WWB19. Your code is wrong you were lucky it worked in previous versions.
Please remove the code, it breaks the structured of the page.
If you need further assistance then please share a DEMO project, so I can see all your settings.

Re: admin has no edit options when updated to WWB19
Ik would like you to help me solve this mistery Pablo because after I removed the wrong code from my project I still see no change. I have removed my browser history, tried looking at it using an incognito page but nothing seems to help.
If you click on the hyperlink on top of the page you can download a zip file containing my project file and folder.
I hope you can figure out what is wrong.

Note the the edit options works, only the icons are not displayed.
Are you sure you have the latest update installed?

Re: admin has no edit options when updated to WWB19
I am using google chrome and in my browser there is no edit option visible or at least: I don't see how i can edit users already stored.
And yes, WWB shows a message box telling me that WWB is up to date.
The version info in 'About' shows version 19.2.0
I am using the Dutch version by the way.

In the English version it works like it should!
So looks like something's wrong with the Dutch version.

Re: admin has no edit options when updated to WWB19
The only different is tat the Dutch version is an older build. The English version include all hotfixes.
If you installed the English version in the same folder then everything should be ok.
