ukr.lng

Post by Oleksandr »

Good day Pablo.
Updated WWB to version 19.
There was no Ukrainian language package, so at 18 I used Russian, which was not official.
Now forced to use Czech, it is closer to Ukrainian than English.
There is a very, very big request.
Make a Ukrainian language package.
Our people are trying with all their might to show that we are worthy Europeans.
Thousands of Ukrainian-speaking users of your very useful product will be grateful to you for this recognition of our dignity to be in Europe.
In this way, you will help Ukrainian European integration by providing more opportunities for Ukrainians to spread their presence on the Internet.
Thank you personally, and from Ukrainian-speaking users.

I'm sorry, but I do not have knowledge about the Ukraine language to do this. And this will take a lot of time, pobablky week of works, if not longer. So, even if I had the knowledge there is no way I can find that much free time.
Also, I think you are the only (official) Ukraine user of WWB.

The fact that I am probably the only official Ukrainian-speaking user of your wonderful product is very bad news.
Maybe you can give me an algorithm how to translate an English pocket.
Then I guess I did it.
I have learned a lot from your tips.
Thank you.

maybe there is a Russian-language package for version 19, or if you get 18, you will adapt it.

The Russian language module was created by another user. There is no update for WWB19 yet. Usually this will take a couple of weeks. I have no control over if or when this will be available.
But again, there are only a few (official) Russian users.

Note I did already give you some tips how to do the translation, so you can also try to do it yourself.

Good afternoon, dear Pablo.
I carefully read your recommendations for translating the wwb 19 interface.
Based on the results of independent translation attempts and what I read, I understood that the most correct would be to make the translation in the csv file that you provide.
I am attaching a link to the archive with the Ukrainian translation file.
I really hope that having it you will make ukr.lng
As it happens, I will be very grateful for your message to the e-mail address 7875521@gmail.com

Wow! That must have been a lot of work.
I have build the Ukrainian language based on your CSV file.
https://www.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/wb19ukrainian.zip

Note that this still probably needs some fine-tuning because in many cases the text does not fit.
But before fixing that I first need to know if it works at all?

Thank you very much Pablo.
Everything works.
It is much easier to work in your native language.
Once again, thank you very much.
I confess that it was not difficult to translate with the help of Microsoft programs.

Good day.
I updated to the latest version and the language pack (https://www.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/wb19ukrainian.zip) that you sent me stopped working.
I understand that I am distracted from more important matters.
Bedu is grateful for a working version of the language pack in the updated WWB.

The language file on the server is up-to-date.
You will need to replace the file with each new update.

There are no Ukrainian language packs for download.
I translated the csv file you provided, and then you compiled the language lng for me.
It is not working now.
Therefore, please either send another csv, or compile a new Ukrainian lng based on what I sent you.

I did it, it doesn't work.
WWB says this https://www.mediafire.com/file/v4ehjup6 ... 8.PNG/file
This I did again from the German csv

There is no need to update the csv file.

This file is for 19.0.2:

Thanks for the advice. Working.
I don't understand why it didn't work before.
Probably because I did not delete, but replaced the file.
I will be more careful later.
Thank you again.

The previously mentioned recommendations for installing the language pack do not work.

Please tell me what to do.
