image in layout grid - need to specify alt tag

I have a layout grid where I am embedding an image. I need to specify an alt tag containing a description of the image. This ability does not seem to be available. Is there a way to do this?

What do you mean exactly by embedding? If you are simply inserting the image in the grid, just open the properties of the image to add it.

You can set the alt tag of an image via the 'Description' property of the image.
