Naster frame for login screen different from rest of site...

Post by brucebinder »

I have a Master Frame that I have edited. It shows fine for all the pages of the site except the login screen which shows the master frame before I edited it.

How do I change the login master frame?

To be able to help you, I need to see what you have done.

The site is small. If you go to https://lvcycog.com, you will see the login screen on the left DVD & CD. Once you log in (user: ott, password: lvcyclass), the corrected frame without the DVD & CD will show.

I trust this will let you see the challenge I am having.

Did you republish all files after you made the changes?

Yes, But I could not figure out how to make the database for the log in so I copied it from the original sire WBS.

I would guess that that is somehow causing the issue.

Do both pages have the same master page?
Are there any errors in the publish log?

Yes, same master page and no errors.

The login screen is actually named "index."

Might it be that I need to rebuild the login database? As I mentioned, I used the one from the original site before I made changes to the master_frame.

How do I make a new database?

No, the database has nothing to do with menu.

I think the files on the server are not up-to-date.
A complete republish should fix that.
