Publish parameters not being remembered

Post by brucebinder »

After I publish my site, the next time I go to publish, the Publish Website box is empty.

How do I get it to remember my settings?

Maybe the file publish.dat is read-only?

Normally, this file is located in the folder:
C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\WYSIWYG Web Builder\system

The folder may be locked by Windows ransomware protection.

Do you see the date of the file change when you save the publish data?
Or what if you rename the file. Is a new file created?
