links on pages with the extension php

why is it not possible to see the project pages with the php extension when previewing the entire site ? Or does it work when uploading a project to hosting ?

Browsers do not support PHP, so that is why you cannot preview PHP pages.
The PHP code needs to be processed by the server.

that is, if I create the project pages in php and upload it to the hosting, then will the links to the project pages work? as I understand it does not work on the preview
