Looking for Input on New Site

Post by Hiccimimups »

Hi All,

Had the site up for a bit, but got to a point where I would like some feedback. Anything that would give it pizazz, or improve?

I liked you site. It simply worked. I also resized my browser a bit to see if things broke, and they didn't. The globe gifs kind of reminded me of the websites I made in my mid 90s college days, and I assume you were having fun with the retro nature of the old school graphics. Excel is a powerful program and it is great to see your work with it :-)

I like it.

But right at the bottom it says 'webmaster'. When you click on it, it takes you to a password protected page. What is that for and why is it there?

An area I don't want people. I have the word Webmaster just as something I can click on to access the page.

Yep it does do that. Viewing in Landscape works best I find. Maybe I don't have something right for the responsive to act correctly?

I figured this was the purpose. Personally I see this as a security risk, as it only encourages visitors to try and gain access to the hidden page and for hackers to use brute force to gain access to it. If you really need this hide it in someway that only you know what to click on.

I would be inclined to have a menu bar at the top of the page. I believe this would make it easier for people to navigate your site.
Most of the links in the menu are for areas of the main page. Wondering if it would be better to break those areas out into separate pages?
This may make it easier for people to view on mobile devices.
Just my thoughts...
