need Button to link to a PDF document
I am looking to generate a button which links to a downloadable or viewable pdf document.
It is for a restaurant who want their menu to be downloadable.
Please can anyone advise how to do this.
I can not get the form button to work
Thank you in advance for any feedback

Re: need Button to link to a PDF document
Why do you need a form nutton!!
you can easily insert an image of pdf, and link this image with your menu which should be uploaded onto your host.
is that what you're asking for!!

Thank you... I am not a nutton.
... many things but not a nutton.
I am new to WYSIWYG and some of the features are new to me.
I have programmed Dreamweaver for years but had to change because of responsive and bootstrap sites.
Thank you

Terry form buttons are meant to be used on forms only. If you follow the link I gave you will be able to create a link easily for what you have asked.

Alternatively you can use the method described in the FAQ:

Re: need Button to link to a PDF document
unless I am missing something...
Put a Themable Button on your site. Set the properties for the Button and add the link to the pdf file.
