How to combine 2 cards into 1 card ?

You cannot combine cards. Cards are separate objects.
What is the purpose of this?

On the narrow card on the left, I will insert an image.
On the wide card on the right, I will enter a text description about the image.

I had a plan before to insert a layout grid or a flexbox here,
but I wanted to see first how it looks like using a card container with 1 narrow card and 1 wide card
because I really like to use cards in my websites.

But why do you need to merge two cards?

Surely you could just use 2 cards - the one on the left smaller (narrow) and the one on the right larger (wide) ? - unless i am missing something.

Thank you very much for the two of you.
I got it. See the image at the bottom.

Here are what I did following your suggestions:
01 I inserted a layout grid.
02 Made it 2x by 10x
03 I inserted a card in each of them, one card in 2x and one card in 10x also
04 I inserted an image in 2x card
05 And also inserted text in the 10x card
06 And voila! I got the output as I desired it to be.
07 Here is the result:
