Navigation Bar

Post by Martin555 »

Hi there good people of this forum,

This is a two part question about the responsive menu placed at the top of my screen.

Firstly I would like the menu bar to scroll down the screen as someone is still scrolling down the page, so that it is visible at all times. I have right clicked on the menu bar and then clicked on object manager, I then ticked the box stating "Enable Affix (keep navigation visible at all times)" in preview it works no problem but when I load up the page it does not work. I am not sure why, I have the menu inside the header at the top of the page, could this be the problem.

Secondly,

I have several break points in my site from 360 px to 1920 px. Is there anyway that I can make the responsive menu change font size, icon size, padding etc in each different break point, or do I need to have several different menu bars one for each break point that each have their own font size, icon size etc.

Thank you in advance for any help with these small problems.

Best Regards,

Martin.

Did you publish all files? There is no difference between preview and the published HTML.
But you may not have uploaded affix script.

Some menus support responsive font sizes. This is documented in the help for each object (responsive properties)

Hi Pablo,

Thank you for your quick response.

I had not done a complete upload of all files, I was only "publishing files of modified objects only" but once I did a full upload of all files, it was working great so thank you.

I will look at the other menu responsive design to try and locate on where I can adjust the font and icon size for each breakpoint.

Best Regards

Martin.
