Any tutorial how to save and publish on the computer,, please?

Re: Saving and publishing on my computer
From the Help file
Publish to a local folder
Click Add to add a new location to the list. Enter a name for the location a select Local as type. Enter the folder where you want to publish the active document.
Click OK to save the data and then click Publish to save the files to the specified folder. If you do not want to copy images or other components along with the HTML file,
select the Only publish HTML files option. Otherwise all images, activex controls, java applets etc. will be copied the same folder.

Re: Saving and publishing on my computer
@marynarz1,
Saving a project and publishing a project are 2 different things.
When you start a new project and then save it, WB saves that file in a particular file format (.wbs). This is your project file. When you want to continue adding to the project, this is the file you load into WB and not the published files.
When you are finished with your project and want to be able to upload it to your host to make your website live, you have to 'Publish' the project. This is when WB creates all the .html, .css, .js, image folders, etc. that will need to be uploaded to your host. Of course, WB has a built in publisher to assist you with this part.
So if you are saving everything to your computer, you should always have a project file (.wbs) and published files (.html, .css, .js, etc). I would keep the published files in a separate folder from your project file.

Re: Saving and publishing on my computer
Funny thing.
When I was using WYSIWYG builder 6 or 7, I had no problems
But that was in 2011?
Just come back and what? Everything changed

Re: Saving and publishing on my computer
Are you using the file menu to open the project?
Note: you can make the current version look like the old one in Tools -> Options -> User interface -> User Interface -> Menubar
Also note that saving and publishing works the same as in older versions. This has not changed.

Re: Saving and publishing on my computer
It sounds like you are double clicking on the project file to open it. I would suggest opening WB15 and then using the file menu to open up the project file.

Thats the case. I was double clicking and thats why couldn't open the file.
Did what you recommended and it works

Re: Saving and publishing on my computer
All that you need to do is associate the .wbs file extension with the webbuilder.exe program. This is standard Windows functionality.
