Carousel

Post by kitty77 »

What is the proper width so the Carousel does not have any space on the side. I have it set to full width but still shows some extra blank space.
My first slides are 1262 x 460

How are you inserting the images? Are you dragging them into the carousel or setting them as the background of each slide? If you want to make sure they fill the entire carousel (browser width) set the images as the background of each slide with size set to 'cover' and horizontal and vertical set to 'center'. Keep in mind that since your slides are only 1262px wide that when the browser gets bigger than 1262px, the images will scale and get larger to keep the aspect ratio. This could start to distort the image depending on how good of an image it is.

Oh, now I see the difference between dragging and background. Wasn't clear.
I trying to have it edge to edge slider... Do you know of a better way? The carousel is a little clunky.

How is it clunky? The best way is as I described setting it as the background. Did that not give you what you wanted?
