Overlay menu wont change background colour....

I can not get my overlay menu to change colour on my index page.
It is the same menu setup on every page but something seems to be overwriting the BG colour from blue to grey on the index page only?

The colors of the overlay menu are not responsive, so it will use the colors of the default view.
- unhide the menu in the default view
- change the colors
- hide it again
