Page properties issue

Post by Alan »

I have found that If I create several pages and then specify different Target screen size, 800X600 for example, the 'Make Default' button does not update the existing pages as it states when YES is clicked.
What have I misunderstood?

The page size is unique for each page, for example the height is hard ever the same. So by design this option does not change the page size, otherwise existing layout could become corrupted.\

That leaves me wondering what the purpose of the Make Default button is.
If it isn't setting the target screen size the same for all existing ages, why is it offering to set all or just this page in the Yes/No dialogue box?
What settings will the button set as Default?

'Make default' applies to the all the other options. It does not update the page size for existing pages to protect your layouts.

If you want to know the exact settings then open the Site Properties,. All options that are disabled in the Site properties will not be applied.
