confused in the sreen size settings

Hi Pablo, wenn a purchase my new laptop and going from windows 7 to windows 10 everything displayed different! Whit your advice i reset the HKEY and enable it and set it to 0.

The settings of my new laptop recommend a screen size off 125% and 1920x1080 for the resolution.

Because screens are getting bigger with high resolutions i am wondering what would be the best size? I read that 1440 would be one off the most used sizes nowadays.

But how to start with my laptop settings if i start building the site? I like to redesign my site with the layout grid and like to have a clean start building it.

If i make any changes in my previous project i cant adjust the line high and text would be display different than in the work space. How can i solve this so the layout of the page is the same as i preview it.

A lot of question marks, but hope you can help me out.
