put a link on webpage to save page

Is there anyway I can put a clickable link on my website so a user can save the page,to there home screen or to bookmarks or just to save the page?

dosent work my android phone blocks it and my google chrome wont use it either. And I need it so it will work for everyone.

I am not sure if there is a solution that works everywhere. This is not official HTML functionality.

Most phones already have a built in bookmark this page functionality. Same as with desktops anymore. This is why you don't see 'bookmark this page' much anymore on websites.

thanks for the help evryone I found this on a site so i think I will just leave it up tp my users to know how to book mark it.

Once upon a time, this could be done. But unscrupulous sites would abuse the capability, forcibly bookmarking sites the user didn't want bookmarked. Now it is no longer possible for pages to add bookmarks on behalf of the user.
