Hi,
suddenly, probably after the update to 15.0.7 al my profiles for publishing are gone. Only LocalPublish to my computer is left.
Any ideas?

edit: no, not related to 15.0.7. The same with my second computer with 15.0.6 on board.
I do not remember if I have used 15.0.6 for publishing already.

An update will never remove any files.
Maybe you have changed the system folder?

Re: Publishing profiles are gone
No, nothing changed. The mentioned second computer I only use seldom for webdesign (is my computer for the music studio) plus the second system partition of the first computer are showing the same.
Where are the profiles stored?

Re: Publishing profiles are gone
The publish settings are stored in the system folder.
The default location is: Documents\WYSIWYG Web Builder\system\publish.dat
However, if you configure a filter folder in Tools -> Option -> Files & Folders then that location will be used.
This functionality has not recently changed.

Re: Publishing profiles are gone
Are you sure you did not change the system folder?
In this topic we have previously discussed the possibility, related to the location of blog templates:

If you modify this setting then it will also affect the location where publish data will be stored.

Re: Publishing profiles are gone
Yes, I know. On my first computer (laptop) I have changed the location and copied the system folder, not so at the second computer. On both there is no publish.dat anymore. On the second I now have created a new profile what causes a new publish.dat.
Whatever causes the vanishing I have to create new. Not too bad, not too many profiles.
But that shows me how important is to set the location of these kind of system fikes for daily BackUp procedure.

Re: Publishing profiles are gone
Me too. My publishing profiles have not disappeared, they are still in the Users folder on C Drive but Web Builder refuses to use them. Also I had Humanity Style configured to my liking for one of my web sites and that has now defaulted back to the original default settings. I haven't made any changes to my main computer at all. In tools - Options - Files and Folders it is saying the correct location but I did browse to it just to double check. I restarted Web Builder but it made no difference.
I opened WYSIWYG on my laptop and it is working fine for the moment.
