Tablestyles.day - is there a list of allowed commands?
I want to modify tablestyles.dat (and, yes, put it into documents... so updates don't overwrite it). I can see the commands that are there and understand (mostly) what they do. But I wondered if there were other commands I could use and whether there was a list anywhere I could get at.
In particular, I want to be able to set the font and the font size for all cells at once.
Cheers

Re: Tablestyles.day - is there a list of allowed commands?
I'm sorry, there are no commands to set the font and the font size.
Re: Tablestyles.day - is there a list of allowed commands?
Can you suggest how I can change all the text in a table to a different font then? If I have to do each cell one at a time, then I won't be too happy

Re: Tablestyles.day - is there a list of allowed commands?
- select the cells
- hold the SHIFT key
- open cell properties.

- open cell properties.

Thats what I did. And yes, I can change the font - but the text goes white. Because that field is greyed out and I cannot change it.

It works for me with you the project have shared.
Note that the selected color is not 'white', this is just how Windows renders the color picker when it's disabled.

Re: Tablestyles.day - is there a list of allowed commands?
OK - it seems to be working for me too now. I need to work on how I managed to get it not to work. Because, honestly, I wasn't making it up.

Re: Tablestyles.day - is there a list of allowed commands?
OK- if you take the table I was using, select a range of cells, hold shift down and then click on cell properties, the dialog box opens. If you then click on styles and then click on 'cancel', when you click on another cell, the one you had selected before lose the text colour.
That is reproducable for me with the latest 15.0.4

Re: Tablestyles.day - is there a list of allowed commands?
Pablo,
You are a star. The colour changes in text for tables works.
One small point. If you look at the table I showed you before (https://www.dropbox.com/s/mouf6bfp6c7fa ... 1.wbs?dl=0 if you want to get it again), select the first column and change the text colour, it also sets the background to the colour of the first cell.
One for the next update?

This is behavior by design. All properties of the focused cell will be copied.select the first column and change the text colour, it also sets the background to the colour of the first cell.
Re: Tablestyles.day - is there a list of allowed commands?
OK, I can work with that. Is it the first cell selected or the top most cell which is the 'master' one? (Assuming I select more than one)

Re: Tablestyles.day - is there a list of allowed commands?
The 'master' is the first item of the selection (from left to right, top to bottom).

Thank you,

Re: Tablestyles.day - is there a list of allowed commands?
Another small issue - I select some cells and then shift-cell properties, if I then try and apply 'bold' or 'italic', it doesn't do anything.

Re: Tablestyles.day - is there a list of allowed commands?
I'm sorry, this functionality is not available.
Note tte style properties is generic dialog, used by multiple objects. Not all options apply to all objects.

Re: Tablestyles.day - is there a list of allowed commands?
Ah, that's a pain if I have a lot of cells to modify and have to do it on each cell individually. Can you think of any other way to do it?

Re: Tablestyles.day - is there a list of allowed commands?
I'm sorry, there is no easy way. Unlike the previous modifications this would take a lot of extra work. So, this is not something that can be added within the near future.
Re: Tablestyles.day - is there a list of allowed commands?
Not to worry - I'll just use a bolded font if I need it.
