Save text as image not working in Version 15. Image is saved as a blank It is the same in all available formats, png, gif, jpg.
Must be a glitch of some kind.

I tried it too, but it doesn't work on Windows 10 with the latest WB version. You get a blank file.

The reason why it works on Windows 7 is because in that case the software does not use Direct2d for text.
On Windows 10 the software uses Direct2d and this functionality has not been implemeted yet. It will be available in the next update.
