WYSIWYG Web Builder goes 64 bit!

Post by Pablo »

The standard version of WYSIWYG Web Builder is a 32-bit application and although it will run fine on modern computers, it does not use the system in its full potential.
For example, 32-bit applications can use a maximum of 2 GB system memory. 64 bit applications do not have a limit.
Also WYSIWYG Web Builder (64-bit) was developed and compiled with the latest development tools for better performance and improved stability.

64-bit extensions
All third party extensions (created with Extension Builder) should work just like in the 32-bit version.
Most official extensions (which are real applications) have also been ported to 64bit.

Because 64-bit apps are not compatible with 32-bit, they have a different file extension: .wbx64
Updated (free) extensions are available via the Extension Manager or here:

You can download/update purchased extensions here:

*** Important ***
Please do not open/save your project before all extensions have been updated!

Backwards compatibility
The 64bit version is compatible with the 32bit version.
There are currently no known issues.

If this version does not start then your system probably needs the Visual C++ Redistributable Packages install run-time components.
