Quick Access Toolbar
When I click on any element, the Quick Access toolbar drops down, which requires another click to hide it. Can I make it made permanently open but with the very top of the page in view?
Never complain about getting old, the alternative is far worse!

The quick access bar is a standard system feature, I do not have control over how it works.
But what exactly do you mean by 'When I click on any element, the Quick Access toolbar drops down"?

Solved - I minimised the ribbon.
