Text over image

Post by Wrighty »

How do you get to write text over a image.

When I try, it says double click to edit text ,or something like that, but double clicking only brings up the image property's.

If you are using fixed/absolute layout then you can stack objects on top of each. This is not possible with flexible layout.
But you can place text on top on an image by using the watermark tool.
Or else you can look at the 'section' object.

If you need further assistance then please share a DEMO project so we can see what you are trying to do.

if it helps at all …….

I used a ‘Layout Grid’ and set the image as the background within the layout grid properties. Then you can select ‘Text’ from the toolbox, add your text and place it on top of the image.
