I have a text box on my page that I use as a checklist whilst I am building my website. Is it possible to have this visible in the workspace, but for it not to publish when previewing the site? Or is there a better way?

EDIT: Forget this! I have just answered my own question. I've put it on a non-publishing master page.

Look under Toolbox->Miscellaneous-> Notes
Notes
- New Feature: Added 'Notes' object. An easy way to 'drop' notes/comments on the page. The object will not be included on the published page. You can quickly show/hide all notes with the 'Notes' option in the view menu.
