Hello. When I use FontAvesome, the page shows F083 instead of graphics. What am I doing wrong?

Unfortunately I don't have a link to the site. The problem is that FontAvesome stopped displaying for me, or rectangles are displayed, or some codes are displayed

If you need further assistance then please share a DEMO project (.wbs file) so I can see all your settings.

I do not need the complete project because that will only take more time to figure out what you have done.
Basically, I just need a small project with one page and object(s) that are relevant to your question.

Note that I cannot see what you have done based on the published page (HTML), because the software has thousands of options and millions of possible combinations.
So, there is no way to know which options you have used by looking at the HTML only.

This is not the browser version. Rather, I accidentally moved something in Wywywi Web Builder 18. I use version 17 in parallel and everything is displayed well in the same browser

Understood that you have maybe accidently done something but you have to submit a demo project or how will we see what is wrong.

Unfortunately an image just showing it's not working doesn't help to diagnose the problem. Please upload a copy of your project file (.wbs) to your server and provide a link to it so it can be downloaded.

I will add that I have a registered version number 18. I guess I misplaced something in the program options. Unfortunately, reinstalling the app does nothing.

your icons html structure is
<div id="Icon1"><i class="Icon1"></i></div>
in the class it is missing "fa fa-bookmark" and instead in the class it is using "icon1" which is the id too

I see. Just how to fix it? I didn't change any class names. I am using the application in graphical mode. Also, after reinstalling it, the problem persists

the same project I pasted another icon it looks to be fine but this icon is having problems. Have you tried taking another icon and trying that on your project side by side?

I have again tested it I think it is has a solution. I changed it with an "material icon" or "iconfont" then again tried using font awesome the icon was showing. Try doing that and see and if you are still having problem I will send a demo you can download and see if it shows right for you.

This is not the problem of this design and this icon. Every project I create or open in the app has the same error.

Did you download the project file I gave? Try that and see.

I am a user I dont have icon problems, but if you have it then it must be for an unfortunate reason. We both use the same software. It must be for messing a setting, now who did it I don't know but the software is not responsible for this. Because on my side things are right.

Your icon can be made correct on my project file how cant my file be shown correctly on your project file on your computer.

There seems to be an issue with the selected icon library.

To solve the problem:
- Open the properties of the icon
- re-select the icon library.

Selecting the icon library again does indeed fix the problem. But this is not a solution, because every new icon is displayed incorrectly. I would have to reselect the library for each icon twice. Is there a permanent solution to this problem?

I have use them in almost all my project.
Also, you are the first user who has reported this.

What are the exact steps to reproduce the problem?

I posted a video of the problem in my last post. Let me remind you that I am using the registered version 18. I have installed it many times, every time the problem is the same

The video is not enough to find out the problem it maybe a system issue maybe the browser extension but the software has no issue at all. There are countless users building project every day not even one have made complain on icons. You can test the software on another pc if you can and then see if the same problem persists just for a test.

Are you using the 64 bit or the 32 bit version btw?

The video file I posted illustrates the problem well enough. The program stopped displaying the icons that's all. There is nothing else. I checked your file and the icon is not showing up. Instead of the icon there is the code F02E

Even I have all the versions but why arent we all having problems although we use the same software you downloaded? Based on that video no system settings or problems can not be understood. Only if others report about this problem can we surely know what maybe wrong or else we are not being able to reproduce the problem which you have shared. And difficult for us to know.

How am I supposed to know why you don't have problems? But it's not a professional approach - I don't have problems with others, neither can they.

Your project works for me, so I think this can only be a configuration issue.

Maybe you can try this?
In the icon gallery at the bottom select 'Default icon Library', then restart the application.

One more thing besides what you wrote Pablo helps. If I move an icon from Font Avesome to User Collection and place it on a page from User Collection it displays correctly.

can you share the demo of wwb17 project with the same icon? I again tested when I change it to icon font and back to font awesome it works fine for me.

That is because in that case icons are published as SVG image.

If my previous suggestion did not work then please try this:
- uninstall the software
- clear your browser cache.
- reboot your computer
- download the setup again, make surer you have version 18.2.2

Your project works fine for me the icon shows. Did you do exactly the way I did in the video? Please follow @pablos advice to do a clear installation.

I deleted the browser cache, uninstalled the program and additionally the Wysiwyg Web Builder directory. I restarted my computer and installed versions 18.2.2 and unfortunately it's still the same.

During reinstallation, the program does not ask me for registration data, so uninstalling itself probably does not clear all program data

as I wrote version 17 works fine. Icons do not display only in version 18
