Hotspots

Post by davehappen »

Hi All. I'm using a map of Thailand with various icon hotspots, which are placed where they should be;
Problem one: when viewed on preview all the hotspots appear to the left of where I originally placed them
Problem two: when I use the radius tool it doesn't work and seems to make up its own mind as to what it thinks the radius should be.
Any help please

To be able to help you, I need a DEMO project (.wbs file) so I can see all your settings.

I do not need the complete project because that will only take more time to figure out what you have done.
Basically, I just need a small project with one page and object(s) that are relevant to your question.

For further details about how to share a project file, please see this FAQ:

Hi Pablo, I set Icon size to 30, radius to 180, and the icons where i wanted them to be, in preview and published everything offsets to the left.

It seems to work correct for me.
Maybe there is something wrong with your browser?

You did set the maximum width to '750', which means that if the screen size becomes bigger then the hotspots will no longer align with the image.
I think it's better to use a max-width on the layout grid.

Hi Pablo, yes opening the layout grid to default did the trick, the radius tool does not work but i can live with that.
Many thanks
