Webshop

Post by paul.maechler »

Hi !
Is there a current webshop template (mySQL based) available ?
I'am willing to pay a reasonable price.

Thanks for any input.

What do you mean by 'old'?
The eCommerce tools were added WWB17!

For example, Vibracart Pro uses MySQL and is very well supported.

My question entirely...why are they unusable (old) because of the release date? The release date doesn't mean that they cannot still be used for use today. Pablo released at lot of ecommerce tools in WB17 maybe you should look at them. Note it could take a developer weeks to design this for you so it wouldn't happen overnight if you required it quickly.

Yes exactly. We like to save time & money and not reinvent the world.
Nobody wants to develop & design another shopping cart....

So we are willing to spend some money for an 80% or 90% solution.
The rest we can customize/develop....

But....the question is why are you saying that they are unusable or old?. Do you not think, if they were unusable for use then they shouldn't be offered and removed?

@paul Maybe the shopping cart design looks too old stylish for vibracart that may be what you were referring to. Sorry as it is vibracarts amendment to be made which you can email them for improvement many do. As @pablo has shown you the list not all of them are old. That's a correction. In fact there is no such thing called as old as everything functions as ecommerce solution. The only thing which may be old is the style or how we think for solution.

The most stylish and modern webshop solution is Ecwid and shopify. Ecwid I think and by far the easiest and versatile if you can spend money I think that is the thing you actually need.

If you want an ECWID shop then idk about the budget of making your webshop, but if you want to have a general chat you can drop a line here

You could use one of the pre-built ones like this one https://squareup.com/gb/en/online-store and just put a link from your web site. No coding and it's free to start with. That's what I have done and it was very easy - this is mine https://gmnscoutshop.square.site/

I use ecwid for ecommerce customers. It works great with Wizzy. You can use the extensions that Pablo provides, or you can insert an HTML object and insert the code provided in the ecwid dashboard. ecwid is a flexible product with many options and works with a wide variety of products. you can sign-up for a free shop to use just to test.

Be happy to help you if this seems to be a solution.
