I'm using layout grid and have 3 columns: 4,3,5 in size.
I'm trying to put a site search into the right column (5).
If I put the search to the side of my layout grid so I can work on it (color, etc.), the search button is directly to the right of the search box -- which is where I WANT it. I click on both the search box and button and move them into my layout grid, and the button automatically goes below the search box.
I tried putting the site search directly in place in the right column of the layout grid and it does the same thing -- puts the button directly below the search box. I'd like the button to be BESIDE the search box and it shows in the tutorial example, but can't figure out how to keep them from stacking.
Thanks for any help you can provide.

Re: Quick Question about Site Search
By default, an input box is full width, so it will take the full width of its parent container.
If you do not want this then you can se the 'full width' property to false. In that case, you can place multiple objects on one row.

Re: Quick Question about Site Search
I went through all settings for the actual input box and saw nowhere to change the width. I thought perhaps the width could be changed on the layout grid but couldn't see where that could happen either.
Re: Quick Question about Site Search
The name of the property is 'full width'.
You can find it in the Property Inspector.

Re: Quick Question about Site Search

I looked on the other 3 tabs and could not see anything about full width on them either.
I also looked on the right sidebar of the desktop which says "Properties" I couldn't find anything about width there either.
I'm using WB15.

The close button text is for a modal dialog.
